HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DI PUSKESMAS MUARA WIS

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus has become the world's premier health problem with a still very high incidence and mortality rate. The most common occurrence of DM disease in the community is type two DM. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between family support and drug compliance in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Muara Wis Health Center. This type of research is a non-experimental study that uses descriptive design correlation with cross sectional approach Samples in this study amounted to 100 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who were treated at muara wis health center. Sampling techniques are done using purposive sampling. The tools used are family support questionnaire sheets and drug-taking compliance. Research procedures include licensing, validity and reliability tests, data collection and data analysis using spearman rank test statistical methods.

The results showed that the compliance of taking drugs in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Muara Wis Health Center showed that Compliance with taking drugs in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Muara Wis Health Center there is a very strong link between family support and compliance with the drug taking type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at Muara Wis Health Center.
