EVALUASI PENGGUNAAN OBAT ANTIHIPERTENSI PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS LOA BAKUNG SAMARINDA

Abstract

This study aims to find out the picture of drug use and find out the accuracy of the use of antihypertensive drugs in hypertensive patients at The Loa Bakung Samarinda Health Center. The type of research used is a descriptive non-experimental study of retrospective data sourced from prescribing data of patients diagnosed with hypertension. This study sample was a patient who had hypertension and used antihypertensive drugs. The data obtained was then compared to the JNC VIII reference standard. The results of the patient characteristic picture in this study were patient characteristics based on male sex as many as 91 patients (51.33%) and female sex as many as 96 patients (48.66%). Characteristics of patients based on ages 41 - 50 years as many as 20 patients (10.69%), patients aged 51 - 60 as many as 61 patients (32.62%), patients aged 61 - 70 as many as 80 patients (42.78%), patients aged 71 - 80 as many as 25 patients (13.36%), patients with > 80 years as many as 1 patient (0.53%). Characteristics of patients based on the diagnosis of other diseases the most is diabetes mellitus as many as 45 cases (33.8%). The results of the picture of monotherapy drug use in this study are amlodipine as many as 180 patients (96%) and lisinopril use as much as 1 patient (0.53%). The use of amlodipine and candesartan combination therapy as many as 5 patients (2.67%), and the second combination therapy between captopril and lisinopril as many as 1 patient (0.53%). Evaluation of the use of antihypertensive drugs based on the appropriate patient as many as 187 patients (100%), appropriate indications as many as 187 patients (100%), appropriate drugs as many as 186 patients (99.46%), and the right dose as many as 187 patients (100%).
