TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TENAGA TEKNIS KEFARMASIAN DALAM PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 DI KOTA SAMARINDA
Abstract
Sars-CoV-2 which is the virus that causes Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new type of disease that has never been previously identified in humans. People who are most at risk of contracting this disease are people who are in very close contact with COVID-19 patients, including those who care for COVID-19 patients. It is important for Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel (TTK) as individuals to realize the need for knowledge in preventing COVID-19. The importance of this is as an initial step to prevent spread in the family, home and neighborhood. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel in preventing COVID-19 in Samarinda City. This research is a non-experimental research with quantitative descriptive data analysis. The sample in this research is Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel who work in Samarinda City. The sampling method used is non-probability sampling, namely purposive sampling. The independent variable in this study is the Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel who work in Samarinda City and the dependent variable in this study is the level of knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel. Analysis of the data in this study in general there are two types of statistics used to analyze the collected data, namely descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics. Based on the results of the study, the level of knowledge of Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel in preventing COVID-19 in Samarinda City was obtained in a very good category. A total of 102 respondents (49.29%) had a very good level of knowledge and 105 respondents (50.72%) had a good level of knowledge. Characteristics of respondents who have a relationship with the level of knowledge of Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel in preventing COVID-19 in Samarinda City, namely age, place of work, type of work, length of work, monthly income and have/not attended seminars on COVID-19. Meanwhile, the respondent's gender characteristics have no relationship with the level of knowledge of Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel in preventing COVID-19 in Samarinda City.
