TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN, SIKAP DAN TINDAKAN TENAGA TEKNIS KEFARMASIAN (TTK) TERHADAP PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 DI KABUPATEN KUTAI BARAT

Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new type of infectious disease. Prevention of COVID-19 is supported of knowledge as a basis for someone in making decisions and determining attitudes and actions in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic problem. Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel (TTK) has an important role as the front line in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic problem. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge, attitudes and actions of pharmaceutical technical personnel on the prevention of COVID-19 in West Kutai Regency. This study uses quantitative methods, the type of descriptive analytic research (non-experimental). It is observational with a cross sectional approach. Data were obtained from the research subject, namely Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel (PTP) who worked in West Kutai Regency with give them a questionnaire. The data analysis method is a univariate analysis to see the frequency of the level of knowledge, attitudes and actions of pharmaceutical technical personnel in West Kutai Regency towards the prevention of COVID-19. The results of the study showed that 48 respondents were declared good with a total average score of 3.22 (72.92%). Bivariate analysis stated that there was a significant relationship between the respondent's characteristics of age, place of work and length of work with the level of knowledge, attitudes and actions of PTP towards COVID-19 prevention. The conclusion is that the category of assessment of the level of knowledge, attitudes and actions of Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel (PTP) in West Kutai Regency is good. There is a significant relationship between the respondent's characteristics of age, place of work and length of work with the total value of the level of knowledge, attitudes and actions of Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel (PTP).
